The Science and Technology Department is a key participant for scientific analysis in Aquitaine. It is organized in accordance with topic disciplines but also pursues a transverse, multidisciplinary method. Science & Technology Corporation (S&T) creates R&D Options for Space, Science and Defence. S&T’ers in our offices in The Netherlands and Norway are laborious at work, sensing issues and growing solutions. We concentrate on Sensing and Management Systems, Scientific Knowledge Processing, Intelligent Software Functions, and Technical R&D Consulting. The School displays expertise in such areas as basic and applied science, technology, STEM training, and broadening participation and disparities.
The Institute of Science and Technology is the skilled physique for specialist, technical and managerial staff. Whilst we’ve been serving our members for over 50 years, our aim is to continually move forward and expand our horizons so that we will best position ourselves to help our members, and the wider technical group, in respect of their wants inside the ever-altering and difficult 21st century.

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Prof. Dr Yunfeng LIANG, from Institute of Energy and Climate Research—Plasma Physics (IEK-4), Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany, as Editor-in-Chief for PST from March 2017. Prof. Dr Yunfeng LIANG is a senior scientist and group chief of 3D edge plasma physics and stellarator physics, IEK-four, Forschungszentrum Jülich. His research pursuits are 3D plasma-wall-interplay in fusion units, 3D edge and divertor plasma physics in magnetically confined sizzling plasmas, physics and management of magnetohydrodynamic stability and transport in fusion plasmas, and development of excessive-temperature plasma diagnostics.
